The strength of the Chamber of Commerce lies within our membership--over 75 businesses united of the betterment of the Orleans community through the work of volunteers sharing their time and talents to focus on the Chamber's many task.
The Orleans Area Chamber of Commerce currently has 99 members and is guided by a Board of Directors, elected by the members. The Chamber was organized as a non-profit organization and operates by adopted by-laws. An Executive Director Robert Henderson was hired by the Board of Directors to coordinate the many programs and events of the organization, plus the day-to-day business management of the Chamber.

The historic downtown improvements include a fully restored 1920's vintage bandstand, basketball court, shelter houses, and original gas lights, as well as major infrastructure improvements. Visitors will also notice a new fountain and new sculpture, along with a new Veteran's Memorial Wall bearing names of veterans from the area.
